Succes op de HAVO

Het duurt nog even, maar ik had alvast inspiratie..

Deze kaart wordt voor onze Thijs, die volgend jaar naar de middelbare school gaat. 

Ik heb de (digi)stempel 'Hi There' van Tiddly Inks gebruikt en vond hem heel toepasselijk hierbij.

It's going to take a while, but after the summer our Thijs is going to High school.

I made this card (already, I just had the right inspiration, haha) for him.

I've used the digistamp 'Hi There' from Tiddly Inks, I thought it fit perfectly with this card..

Colouring: Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils

Nog zoveel te doen..

Het was een druk weekend met veel feestjes..
Ik mocht (in opdracht van mijn moeder) een mooie kaart maken voor een bruidspaar wat vrijdag ging trouwen..

It's a busy weekend with lots of party's! 
I made this wedding card (for my mother) for a couple who got married last Friday..

En gisteren werd ons kleine vriendinnetje Zoë 1 jaar...

And yesterday our little girlfriend Zoë turned one!! 

Vandaag een dag om wat klusjes te doen en daarna even lekker relaxen...
Leuk dat je weer even langs kwam!

Today we're doing some little chores and after that it's relaxing time...

Zwemdiploma

Vanmiddag hadden onze kinderen een alternatief 'tropenrooster': de hele bovenbouw ging lekker zwemmen! Van de week hadden we er een gesprekje over thuis en toen werd er een beetje lacherig over gedaan dat er een paar kinderen uit de bovenbouw nog geen zwemdiploma hadden..
Van een gesprekje ging het ineens naar een serieus gesprek, want na enig rekenwerk kwamen we er achter dat het behalen van een zwemdiploma A+B toch best wel prijzig is (en dat x2!!)..
Gelukkig zijn ze groot genoeg dat ze snappen dat dit gewoon niet haalbaar is voor sommige ouders..

Today our kids had a special afternoon at school: they went smimming with the eldery children! We had a little chat about this event a couple of days ago and the kids were giggling about the fact that a few children didn't have swimming diploma's.. So suddenly the chat became more serious! 
We did a quick math and realized that swimming lessons are really expencive.. 
Luckely my kids are old enough to understand that some people just can't afford swimming lessons for their kids.. 

Zwemmen was een goed thema om een nieuwe kaart mee te maken!
Ik gebruikte weer het leuke dessinpapier van Echo Park Splash en een leuke digistempel van Tiddly Inks ;)
Kan ik die gelijk weer gebruiken voor de DT-call, hoe meer ik kan laten zien, des te groter is de kans dat ik mee mag doen...

Swimming was a good theme to create a card today! 
I used the fun dessinpapers from Echo Park Splash again and the digistamp Going Swimming (boy) from Tiddly Inks. Again a fun card to use for the DT-call from Tiddly Inks, the more I can show them, the better my chances.. ;)

Tiddly Inks DT call

Hallo! Ik ben (net als de rest van Nederland) heerlijk aan het genieten van de eerste zomerse zomerdag! Vanmorgen was het nog wat koud vond ik, dus perfect weer om een kaart te gaan maken.

Hello! I am enjoying the first sunny summerday (like everyone else here in The Netherlands). This morning it was a bit chilly, so it was perfect weather for cardmaking.

Ik heb gezien dat er een DT-call is bij Tiddly Inks en ik vind die (digi)stempels zo ontzettend leuk, dat ik besloten heb een kansje te wagen.. Ik heb een verjaardagskaart gemaakt met Molly Celebrates.

I've read about the DT-call over at Tiddly Inks and because I like those (digi)stamps sooooo much, I've decided to take a chance.. I created a birthday card with Molly Celebrates.

In de zomer zijn er in onze familie altijd veel verjaardagen, dus deze kaart komt goed van pas ;)

Our family has a lot of summer birthdays, so this card will come in handy ;)

High Hopes Stamps creaties

Ok, daar gaat ie dan.. Opnieuw bloggen voor High Hopes Stamps en misschien in de toekomst ook wel voor anderen, dat zou ik erg leuk vinden.. Omdat ik steeds meer vraag kreeg of ik ook een blog bij hield met mijn kaarten en haakwerkjes, moet het er nu maar van komen. Ik kan natuurlijk niet alles van de laatste paar jaar laten zien, het meeste heb ik ook allang niet meer ;)

Okay, here I go.. Blogging again for High Hopes Stamps and maybe for other companies in the future, I would really like that. I am going to write on this blog, because I got a lot of queation if I had a blog where they could find my cards and crocheted items. Well, okay.. I now have that blog, haha. I can't show you all the things I made in the last couple of years, most cards are long gone by now ;)
